NEDEA

NEDEA Uganda is a non government organisation based in Wakiso district, Ssisasubcounty, Nakawuka parish of Uganda. The region is inhabited by people who have fled from other areas due to war, poverty or in search of employment. Lacking access to most public resources, the area is struggling with high rates of unemployment, school dropouts, HIV and poverty. Through community education and education support, the organisation aims to provide community development and reduce illiteracy. In particular the organisation focuses on providing quality education for children from poor families, families affected by HIV, orphans and disadvantaged children through Twinlight Childrens’ Centre.
